Subject Leader Networks
Wolverhampton has always been proud of its subject leader networks, established to help coordinators share best practice and develop an understanding of the age related expectations in the new curriculum so that they can plan for and lead an exciting, challenging and motivating curriculum in their subject area.
City of Wolverhampton Council, R.E. Today and Elston Hall and St. Bartholomew’s Teaching Schools Alliance will work with leading practitioners from across the city along with other strategic partners from the Local Authority and University of Wolverhampton to maintain these meetings and support the provision of a strong and professional learning community for subject coordinators and teachers for each respective subject.
Ultimately, we want subject coordinators to feel confident and positive about innovating changes to develop cross curricula links with other subjects and ultimately improve attainment.
