Attachment, Trauma and Resilience

Increase your knowledge of attachment, trauma and resilience and take away practical strategies to put into place to support children and young people who you work with.

Outline

This half day workshop aims to give those working with children the ability to understand and support children who may be experiencing attachment difficulties or developmental trauma. Why do some children struggle to accept praise? Why do some children constantly crave attention? Why do some children seem to reject those trying to help them? Exploring these questions through the lens of attachment, trauma and resilience can be helpful in understanding and supporting vulnerable children and young people and providing the secure base that they need.
