Governor Training: Leading Governance - Chair's Development Programme

Outline

The City of Wolverhampton Council is delivering this programme with The National Governance Association. The NGA is a not-for-profit organisation with a strong track record of delivering governance leadership programmes in cooperation with partners across England. This programme is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and provides chairs, vice chairs, committee chairs and future chairs opportunities for developing leadership skills and confident governance.

Description

This programme offers a blend of flexible learning and will take approximately three terms to complete. Led by experienced facilitators, participants will attend workshops and access effective one-to-one mentoring throughout the duration of this programme. Learning will be both group-led and independent. This course is fully funded by the DfE and will develop your knowledge, leadership skills and networks as well as support in creating an action plan for your Governing Board. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a nationally recognised training provider. Please see the attached Whole Course Flyer for more information on this course.
