Health & Safety SLA now available!
The service available has been streamlined following feedback and in line with current Health and Safety Executive guidance around focussing on the significant risks. This revised approach serves to embed health and safety within day to day delivery of education as business as usual and in a streamlined manner.
Sensible health and safety management means making sure that the focus is on real risks with the potential to cause harm, not wasting resources on trivial matters and unnecessary paperwork. The service follows a sensible and proportionate approach to health and safety management that promotes risk awareness rather than risk avoidance.
This combined package of training and flexible support is available for a fully inclusive and single cost effective simple fee. Full details of the training is detailed in the offer including additional inclusive facilities for e-learning.
If alternative providers are preferred elements of the service can be purchased individually on your behalf to ensure you have the tools necessary to meet your duties around health and safety as set out under the Education Act 2002 (Section 5) by the local authority. This revised approach aims to modernise services and make the school’s responsibility to manage health and safety in conjunction with the Council’s responsibilities as employer, as efficient as possible.
